Job Description

Job Description: The recruitment team at Myticas Consulting is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Inventory and Warehouse Clerk.


In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, validating, unpacking, storing, and labeling items in our storage facility. Proficiency in Excel and knowledge of inventory management systems, particularly Wasp, are essential for success in this position.


Responsibilities:

  1. Receive incoming shipments, verify the accuracy of items received, and inspect them for any damage.
  2. Unpack items and ensure they are stored in the appropriate location within the warehouse or storage facility.
  3. Utilize Excel to track and maintain accurate inventory records, including quantities, locations, and any relevant product information.
  4. Label items clearly and accurately for easy identification and retrieval.
  5. Collaborate with other team members to coordinate the efficient flow of materials and products through the organization.
  6. Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  7. Communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve any issues related to inventory and materials.
  8. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse or storage area for optimal efficiency.
  9. Train and supervise junior staff members involved in inventory management tasks.
  10. Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in inventory management technology.


Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience in inventory and material management.
  2. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.
  3. Familiarity with inventory management systems, specifically Wasp.
  4. Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  6. Comfortable working with computers and technology.
  7. Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  9. Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in warehouse operations.
  10. Experience with material handling
  11. Experience with warehouse management
  12. Knowledge of procurement
  13. Receipt of goods experience
  14. Kitting and shipment preparation experience
